WOTH cares about the privacy of our readers. We therefore comply with the new EU privacy law regarding data regulation (AVG/GDPR). Your data is safe with us. This privacy statement explains how we use the information we obtain about you online or collect at an event once you have filled in a subscription. Personal data security is very important to WOTH. We ensure that your data are properly secured with us. We are always updating our security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.

You can ask us questions or make requests using the contact form found online.
For this we use your e-mail address and name. We have a legitimate interest in this. We store this information until we are certain that you are satisfied with our response. 

NEWSLETTER
You can subscribe to our newsletter. Here we keep you updated between the printed issues of WOTH Wonderful Things Magazine. We send you news about our Magazine — Wonderful Things, Remarkable thinking! You can cancel this subscription at any time through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter. Your e-mail address will be added to the list of subscribers with your permission once filled in online on our website or when you leave your business card with us. These data are stored until you cancel your subscription. For our WOTH NewsLetter we use the MailChimp system, your personal data will be processed in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms

COMMERCIAL INFORMATION PROVISION
We would like to inform you about our latest issue, news and services. We do this through newsletters by email and via social media. We will only send you information after you have granted your consent by registering for our newsletter or by following one of our social media accounts. You can object at any time to this form of information provision. If you unfollow our social media accounts we can no longer share any new information with you. Use the unsubscribe option for the channels for which you have granted consent such as Facebook or Instagram.

SOCIAL MEDIA
This site includes buttons to be able to promote or share pages on social networks such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter. These buttons are created by means of a code that is provided by the social media network itself. This code will among other things install a cookie on your computer. Please read the privacy statements at Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter (which may regularly change), to see what they do with your personal data which they process with this code.

ORDER PROCESSING
If you place an order with us in our shop online or fill in a subscription form at a fair, we will use your personal data to process this. To deliver your order we share your personal data with our delivery services. This data includes your full name, address, day of birth, phone number and email address. To process your order, we link you through to either Abonnementenland (orders within the Netherlands) or Bruil & van der Staaij (international orders). They receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. They make use of your payment details, name and address data, gender, e-mail address, telephone number and invoice address. Please read their privacy statements to get to know what they do with your data. This data is essential to set up the right contract with you. Distribution services retain this information for up to three years after your order has been completed. 

TRANSFER TO OTHER COMPANIES OR INSTITUTIONS
With the exception of the above-mentioned partners, we will not pass on your personal data under any circumstances to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. if the police require this if a crime is suspected).

COOKIES
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small files which we use to save information so you do not always have to fill it in. In addition, we register your website visit. When you visit our website for the first time, we show a message with an explanation about cookies for which we ask your agreement. You can switch off the installation of cookies via your browser, but the risk is that some parts will no longer function properly. We have made arrangements with other companies that install cookies regarding the use of cookies.

If you have a relationship with our company you have the right to examine your personal data following a written request.
