1000m2

MaMa Kelly is situated in the Olympic Stadium, designed by Dutch architect Jan Wils for the 1928 Olympic games. The restaurant covers 1000m2 divided over 4 floors. At the time we were there it was fully booked and packed with, mostly, women. Be sure to make reservations (mama-kelly.nl) The style of the interior leans towards the glamorous Hollywood Regency style. It's also reminiscent of Sketch in London. Eitherway; it's a nice environment.

Chicken & Lobster

M.K. has a very simple menu. You can choose between chicken and lobster prepared in different ways, and there's a small selection of other dishes like risotto or soup. The wine-list is huge; lot's of red and white wine but, strangely enough, not that many Rosé to choose from. Furthermore, about the use of color in a nutshell: the staff is dressed in black, they wear pinkish headsets, the cutlery is goldtone, napkins are pink and the toiletpaper is white.

The concept for this restaurant is made by Rein Rambaldo, who also designed the place. Rambaldo is also the owner of De Horeca Fabriek concepts & interior design.
