Anke Knapper

Anke Knapper was one of Fontanels’s Dutch Design Talents in 2014. She’d assembled an exquisite collection of illustrated stories about the ways different people had experienced their ‘first time’. Since then, Anke works freelance for various publications, including De Volkskrant, on a regular basis. Under the theme of ‘misconception’, she created the illustration This Is a Real Marcantonio Franceschini for an exhibition of ‘her’ Art Academy Minerva in Groningen. An ode and a nod to the seventeenthcentury Italian painter. Bellissimo!
