Dutch textile designer and architect Samira Boon lives and works alternately in Amsterdam and Tokyo. Her specialization is the positive influence that textile can have on a space in terms of climate, acoustics and layout. Together with TextielLab and Tokyo University, she has developed computerized techniques to fold fabric and make it spatial: 3D woven Superfolds and Archi Folds, here in situ in the Audax room of Theaters Tilburg.
