The first Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, is a fact. The exhibition: “An American City: Eleven Cultural Exercises” shows art, performances, theater films and commissions, in collaboration with museums, civic institutions, and alternative spaces across Cleveland, Akron and Oberlin. Jan van der Ploeg is the only artist from The Netherlands to participate: cool! The opening Gala, with performances by Beijing-based artist collective, Asian Dope Boys will be held on July 13th.
