The Wolfgang Hahn Prize 2018 was awarded to Haegue Yang by The Gesellschaft für Moderne Kunst am Museum Ludwig. For the occasion, the Korean artist got her first major survey exhibition. More than one hundred works spanning from 1994 to the present show the diversity of her oeuvre, from her early objects reminiscent of Fluxus in the 1990s to lacquer paintings, photographs, works on paper, videos, sculptures, performance works, and large-scale installations. Sounds like a good reason to visit Cologne!
