Nassa screens by Yamakawa

Rattan revival! Yamakawa makes use of the very best rattan in the world, sourced from the rainforests of Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Sumatra. Arranged as Pièces Uniques the Nassa Screens were on show at  Rossana Orlandi Gallery in Milan. Objects that breathe Japanese minimalism and tradition, craftsmanship and dedication to its material. Room-Dividers were definitely a trending topic, often seen at various presentations at the Salone. The work of Yamakawa was one that catched our eye!

The corrugated glass room-deviders from the brothers Bouroullec was one of the most Wonderful things we saw at this years Salone. Truly stunning, a little mysterious and surreal the way it filters the light and a subtle touch of color add to it. The modular screen panels are laminated and tempered Flutes glass in transparant, yellow and lilac — and lilac we love.
