The surreal cover art was created by Michela Castagnaro and her partner Sander Wassink, the image is taken from the series 'Rifugio' which Michela produced for our magazine.
Michela Castagnaro came up with the 'Rifugio' theme as a dreamlike shelter for the imagination to linger, run free and take a pause from picture perfect representations on social media, interior magazines and such. She selected an unusual array of evocative objects; created by female designers from Italy, The Netherlands and the US of A. Castagnaro composed interior collages of the product photo's and mixed them with crayon colored drawings made by Sander Wassink.
